Improving children's movement and function.
Pediatric Physical Therapy is a specialized area of physical therapy focused on helping children from infancy through adolescence develop and improve their physical abilities.
It addresses delays or difficulties in movement, strength, balance, coordination, and posture caused by conditions such as cerebral palsy, developmental delays, genetic disorders, muscular dystrophy, or injuries. Pediatric physical therapists use fun, age-appropriate activities and exercises to support a child’s growth, promote independence, and enhance their ability to participate in daily activities at home, school, or in the community.
The therapy is tailored to each child’s unique needs and often involves collaboration with families to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
